This ceramic mug is created by painting clay and then creating a colourful pattern and a hand- built shape. Handle is small and ergonomically fits your fingers, between index finger and a thumb
In the terms of working with coloured clay, it is close to Japanese Nerikomi technique, although atypical.
All of my mugs are one of a kind, hand-made by myself in Australia, no two are the same.
Base is white midfire clay.
Top and inside are high glossy- glazed clear and the outside is matte finishing. Both microwave and dishwasher safe, used as any tableware you have at home. Fired twice in ceramic kiln and glazed with non-toxic , food safe glaze.
